The Josephite Alumni Association of North America ("JAANA," "we," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how information submitted through jaana.co is handled.

Information we collect

We collect information that you choose to provide when you:

• send a general, finance, donation, or matching-gift inquiry;
• reserve merchandise for event pickup; or
• use an event registration, sponsorship, or donation form provided by a third-party service.

Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, class or batch, organization, inquiry details, merchandise selections, and reservation information.

How we use information

We use submitted information to:

• respond to inquiries and provide requested follow-up;
• manage event participation, donations, sponsorships, and merchandise reservations;
• send confirmations or operational messages related to your request; and
• maintain the security and reliability of the website.

How information is shared

We share information only with JAANA volunteers and service providers who need it to carry out the purposes above. Donation, sponsorship, and event-registration forms may be provided by Zeffy and are also governed by Zeffy's own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and site administration

JAANA does not set advertising cookies on the public website. Embedded third-party forms may use their own cookies under the provider's privacy terms. The protected administrator area uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep authorized administrators signed in.

Data retention and security

We keep submitted information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for recordkeeping, or to meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information that you submitted to JAANA, subject to applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements.
